Hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, troubleshooting equipment and helping keep production running safely and efficiently
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical equipment issues
Inspect equipment for wear, damage or unusual operating conditions
Clean, adjust, lubricate and repair machinery as needed
Respond to equipment issues and help minimize production downtime
Use hand tools and maintenance equipment to perform repairs and adjustments
Follow maintenance procedures, safety requirements and work instructions
Document maintenance activities and report equipment concerns
Work closely with production and maintenance teams to keep equipment operating reliably
Learn new machinery, tools and maintenance processes
Previous maintenance, mechanical, manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Comfortable using hand tools and working around production machinery
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify potential problems
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow written instructions and safety procedures
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn specialized equipment and processes
