Assistant Manager
Train store associates on company policies, procedures, and standards
Review inventory and sales records to prepare reports for management and accounting department
Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers
Ensure adherence to safety, health, and security protocols to maintain a safe working environment
Deliver excellent customer service by welcoming and assisting customers and addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorders when stock reaches designated thresholds
Conduct market surveys in the Store Manager's absence to support competitive analysis and pricing
Assist subordinates with their work activities such as cleaning and organizing shelves and displays and selling merchandise
Perform other related duties as assigned
Guide team members in handling complex or challenging sales transactions effectively
Be able to delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members to ensure daily objectives are met
Oversee all aspects of daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager
Create and maintain work schedules; track employee attendance and manage timekeeping records
Inspect merchandise for correct pricing, quality, and proper display in alignment with brand standards
Support the daily operations of our convenience store
Provide support to the Store Manager as required, including on call availability

Associate's degree or logistics/supply chain certification preferred
Prior cross-dock experience is highly preferred
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics, with at least 1 year in a supervisory/lead role
2+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory/lead role managing staff schedules and/or hiring
Must be able and willing to operate non-CDL vehicles (box trucks)
Physical ability to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in a warehouse environment (varying temperatures)
Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends to meet operational and coverage needs
Driving is an essential, frequent part of the job
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, driver logs, transportation paperwork, and basic labor scheduling practices
