Set up and operate machines with minimal assistance
Able to operate all standard machines related to the process in their assigned process
Able to run hand feed grinding and CAM out (profile)
Able to run straight shenk and TD grinding
Exposure to auto grind machines
Knowledge of all measuring instruments and gages for their operation
Understanding speeds and feeds pertaining to the machine they are operating (where applicable)
Knowledge of measurement instruments
Basic communication skills & knowledge of basic shop math
Able to learn how to use measurement instruments
Able to comply to all SPC daily Requirements (if applicable)
Understanding and maintaining machine complements (when applicable)
Willing to learn and maintain a good attitude

Must be able to read, write, speak, and effectively communicate in English
Solid working knowledge of machine tools/parts, set up, operation and maintenance
Possess intermediate math skills for measurement, testing and problem resolution
Safely operate overhead cranes
Read and interpret documents such as blueprints, work orders and manuals. Knowledge about geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Change cutting tools and adjust machine feeds and speeds as needed
Perform routine maintenance on equipment
Safely and efficiently set up and operate all common machine tools engine lathes
Can machine parts using horizontal boring mills, vertical lathes, engine lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses manually
Perform simple to complex machine setups with little to no assistance
Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics
Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
Must be able to work independently, but also demonstrate an ability to work productively within the department team
Receive priorities, instructions, and assignments from supervisor
Qualifications to work in the U.S. (Due to government regulation only US persons may be considered)
Background investigation and drug screen (will be conditioned upon successful offer) as per company policy and applicable federal/state regulations
