Three (3) years of machinist experience
Minimum of 1 years of shipyard experience.
Proven experience disassembling, repairing, and installing machinery such as pumps, valves, and winches.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a marine Outside Machinist, Industrial Mechanic, or related field.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematic drawings.
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces while following shipyard protocols.
Must be able to obtain TWIC and D-Bids badges through a background check.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required
Regularly standing, walking, and using hands to manipulate tools and equipment.
Occasionally sitting, climbing, or crouching.
Frequently lifting and moving up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.
