Graduate of a Surgical Technologist program.
BCLS Certification required.
Working knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, suture, and/or specialty supplies.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology pertinent to patient procedures.
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
Basic PC proficiency with the ability to learn new software tools.
Ability to stand and/or walk for duration of shift and meet the physical requirements of the job.
If driving a Wayne UNC Vehicle, must be 21 years old
MVR must be approved by Risk Management.
