Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of experience or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering with 13+ years of experience.

Experience using industry standard electrical engineering design tools (Altium, SPICE, MATLAB)

Product development experience

Demonstrated experience resolving issues during design, development and execution of electrical engineering activities.

Proficiency with MS Office software applications.

Experience to Earned Value (EV), Cost Account Management (CAM), and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and tracking

Must hold or be able to obtain U.S. DoD SECRET security clearance.

Ability to travel up to 15%, both international and domestic.

Proficient at understanding requirements traceability in a model-based systems engineering environment.

Must be a U.S. citizen.

Prior DoD industry experience

Experience with designing and testing electronics in wet and subsea environment

Experience with Altium, SPICE, and electrical systems in Matlab

Familiarity with Mil Standards, ruggedized equipment design, and environmental test requirements

Knowledge of printed circuit board (PCB) design

Knowledge of design for EMI/EMC standards in military application

Experience reading and creating schematics, wiring diagrams, and component data sheets

Experience derating components and designing for reliability

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, or Energy Engineering (or related engineering discipline) with **5–7+ years** of progressive experience in energy engineering, building systems analysis, or energy performance contracting; **OR** Associate degree in an engineering/technical field with **6–8+ years** of relevant industry experience; **OR** In lieu of a formal degree, **7+ years** of documented, direct industry experience in energy engineering, building performance modeling, or commercial HVAC systems.

Deep understanding of commercial HVAC systems, central plant optimization, building automation/controls (BMS), and ASHRAE energy audit standards.

Hands-on experience with whole-building energy modeling tools (e.g., TRACE 3D+, TRACE 700, eQUEST, or EnergyPlus) and spreadsheet-based bin/8760 energy calculation models.

Ability to travel locally/regionally as required for facility walkthroughs and customer meetings (typically up to 25–35%).

Safety Sensitive roles may require that you pass additional drug screening.

Active professional licensure or industry certifications, such as:Certified Energy Manager (CEM)Professional Engineer (PE)Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP)ASHRAE certifications (e.g., Building Energy Assessment Professional - BEAP, Building Energy Modeling Professional - BEMP)Project Management Professional (PMP)
