Proven work history fitting pipe for welders in spooling and targeting pipe layouts at final install.
Exceptional math skills relating to pipe fitting/layout using tables, formulas, fitting charts, etc.
Must be able to both fit and connect process piping by means of welding, sweating, swaging, gluing, bolting, threading, clamping, etc.
Able to use various measurement and fitting tools such as measuring tape, levels, veneers, plum bob, laser levels, flange pins, centering points, pipe wrap, hand tools, and power tools, etc.
Possess a full range of mechanical knowledge as well as the ability to fabricate and install piping and equipment as specified in work instruction.
Work within assigned groups to move and position work pieces using overhead cranes, chain falls, jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Interested candidates should be willing to work flexible hours to meet the installation needs of our customers to include night shift.
Able to work routine overtime.
Have all the necessary hand tools to perform their discipline.
High school graduate
A history of at least five years in pipe fitting is required
The performance of this position involves exposure to construction or industrial areas where the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats and hearing protection is required.
