Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals, 3D models, specifications sketches, job orders, planning documents and engineering drawings.

Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, magnetic drills, grinders, etc.

High School Diploma or GED required.

3-5 years of experience in heavy military assembly and or vehicle assembly.

Experience with assembly on Commercial Vehicle platforms.

Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing.

Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain suitability requirements for access to classified information.

Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Higher Education Degree or Technical School Certificate is a plus.

Certifications such as ASEC Mechanic License, CDL, fork truck operation, crane operation preferred.

Military vehicle assembly or military vehicle modification experience.

Fork Truck, Crane, and basic machine shop equipment skill with certifications.

Welding of steel and aluminum experience with certification.

Material surface preparation and Spray Painting experience.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field of study.

Two (2) years of experience as a Maintenance Area Supervisor, Senior Engineer - Trim, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation.

Must also have two (2) years of experience with: Manufacturing Engineering, including Program Iaunch, Execution, and Assembly Plant; and Product design compliance with manufacturing requirements and assembly plant processes.

One (1) year of experience with: Systems Manufacturing Engineering processes, including Manufacturing Planning Studies, Value added Assembler, Manufacturing Requirements Data Base, Engineering Changes Database, Issue, Best practice, Manufacturing Requirements databases, Design for Assembly, Process Failure Mode Analysis System and processes; Global Vehicle Development process, Global Launch Process, Problem Resolution Tracking System, and Lean Material Strategies, Bill of Equipment, Bill of process; Development of new vehicle programs including assembly build of process, manufacturing requirements, vehicle systems global strategies and inter-buildability and flexibility requirements; and Vehicle assembly manufacturing plants including product and process designs during early development of new vehicle programs.

Must be able to report to local office.

$43,888.00 - $85,068.00
