Our reps are paid $24.50 base-appt, that is not based on sales or results.

We have a commission structure set up based on performance.

There is an opportunity to make more, but there is still a fall back for the sales rep to make an income even if they have an off week.

We get new reps up to speed very quickly and help more experienced people gain additional skills.

Sales reps who work here long term have an opportunity move along several different advancement paths including management and career sales professional ( even if they start part time with no experience ).

All ages 18+ or 17 and a high school graduate

Full-Time

Throughout an 8-10 hour shift or longer as operations require.

Minimum 7 years of documented industrial rigging experience, including at least 3 years in a lead rigger, rigging foreman, or rigging supervisor role.

Demonstrated ability to function as a Qualified Rigger for the rigging work assigned, with advanced knowledge of rigging equipment, load control, hitch selection, sling angles, center of gravity, load distribution, and working load limits.

Qualified Signal Person training/qualification for crane operations, including standard hand, voice, and radio signaling methods.

Ability to read and apply crane load charts, lift plans, rigging sketches, engineered lift drawings, equipment tags, manufacturer instructions, and working load limit information.

Advanced working knowledge of wire-rope slings, synthetic web/round slings, alloy chain slings, shackles, hooks, lifting beams/spreader bars, chain falls, come-alongs, plate clamps, and other below-the-hook devices.

Knowledge of inspection criteria and removal-from-service requirements for rigging equipment and the ability to identify wear, cuts, broken wires, heat/chemical damage, deformation, missing identification, damaged hardware, and other defects.

Knowledge of fall-zone control, suspended-load hazards, pinch/crush points, line-of-fire exposure, power-line hazards, ground/site conditions, weather and wind considerations, and safe load landing practices.

Experience leading THA/JHA discussions, pre-lift meetings, routine lift plans, and critical/complex lift planning.

Valid driver's license

Reliable transportation.

Must be able to perform the essential functions of a safety-sensitive position and satisfy Deltak pre-employment requirements.

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in South Louisiana industrial conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, noise, dust, welding/fabrication activity, and moving equipment.

Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, reach, inspect rigging and loads, and access work areas throughout an 8-10 hour shift or longer as operations require.

Must maintain the visual, auditory, communication, and physical abilities necessary to safely supervise lifting and rigging operations and use required PPE.

Heavy fabrication, shipyard, module fabrication, petrochemical, construction, or similar heavy-industrial experience strongly preferred.

NCCER Advanced Rigger, NCCCO/CCO Rigger Level II, or comparable advanced rigging credential from a recognized training/certification organization.

NCCCO/CCO Signalperson, NCCER Signal Person, or comparable signal-person qualification.

OSHA 30-Hour Construction or General Industry training.

Formal lift-director, rigging-supervisor, critical-lift planning, or heavy-lift planning training.

Competent Person training applicable to rigging/material handling and the hazards being supervised.

First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

Forklift, aerial lift/MEWP, and other material-handling equipment training where job duties require their use.

Manufacturer or formal training related to crawler-crane operations, particularly Manitowoc lattice-boom crawler cranes, is a plus.
