Is a CST or former CST who wants to move away from the traditional OR environment

Has experience with ophthalmology, cataract surgery, or surgical instruments

Understands the importance of sterile technique and proper handling of surgical instruments

CST, Surgical Technologist, Ophthalmic Surgical Technician, Ophthalmology OR Technician, Sterile Processing Technician with strong instrument knowledge, or similar surgical/clinical experience.

$22.12- $31.21/ hour

Ability to read, write and carry out directions.

Ability to assemble, maintain and record data in an accurate record.

1-2 years experience working in a health care setting as a HUC, NA or NST or equivalent experience.

Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree and Successful completion of a health unit coordinator program preferred.

Maintains current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross. If a candidate does not currently have their Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross the Basic Life Support, certification will be included as part of the orientation program.
