Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

On call during the weekend only in special circumstances

Must own tools applicable to position

Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and power tools, schematics and diagrams

High School diploma, or equivalent

Active applicable state class driver's license

Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times

This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen

Construction knowledge and background preferred

Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)

High school diploma or equivalent education

6+ months of specialized experience

First year potential $70k - $100k based on performance

To apply for this position: applicants must possess a Residential Wireman Electrical License and a minimum of 3 years of residential electrical service technician experience.

Must hold a current Texas TDLR Residential Wireman, Journeyman Electrician, or Master Electrician license.

Must hold a valid driver's license with an issue date of at least five years prior to the date of this application.

Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

Completed specialized courses in residential and commercial electrical practices and having a strong working knowledge of codes and safety measures.

Be available to serve periodic on-call rotation assignments (per schedule approved by service manager) necessary to ensure 24/7/365 coverage for customers.

No actual area/region is designated, so please note that you as a Technician will cover the entire Austin Metro area as required.

Please note that if an offer is extended, we conduct the following pre-employment screenings: drug screen, physical exam, physical performance evaluation (PPE), E-Verify (I-9), comprehensive criminal background check, and a 7-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) review.

Must hold a valid driver's license with an issue date of at least five years prior to the date of application.

Because of our commercial auto insurance requirements, candidates must have a minimum of five consecutive (current and most recent) years of verifiable good driving history.

Any DWI/DUI within the past four years may impact eligibility for employment and may result in withdrawal of a conditional offer.

Generac Certified Technician preferred , but not required.

Excellent communication & customer service skills

High proficiency with emailing, instant messaging and use of various electronic devices and applications for effective communication/information sharing.

Ability to prioritize workload under pressure and handle irate customers and still maintain good composure.

Dependable and self-motivated with desire to work year-round.

Ability to work inside and/or outside for long periods of time, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
