A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in quality inspection or a related field within the aerospace or defense industry
Hands-on experience with the inspection of aerospace components and assemblies
Proven track record of identifying and resolving quality issues
Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions
Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes and materials
History of maintaining accurate inspection records and preparing comprehensive quality reports
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience working in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles
Prior involvement in internal and external quality audits
A 2-year degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies in the aerospace industry
Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;)
Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques
Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and relevant aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001)
Proficiency with computer systems, including quality-related software and Microsoft Office Suite
