Strong understanding of residential electrical services, panels, breakers, grounding, bonding, conduit, and wiring methods.
Ability to read wiring diagrams, electrical plans, and manufacturer installation manuals.
Ability to independently diagnose and resolve electrical problems in the field.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
State or local electrical licenses and certifications, as required for the work performed.
Ability to safely operate common electrical hand tools, power tools, meters, and testing equipment.
Ability to lift and carry approximately 50–75 pounds.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to kneel, bend, climb, pull wire, and work in confined or limited-access areas when required.
Ability to perform physically demanding field-installation work safely throughout the workday.
