3+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and sequencing
Experience estimating projects from plans and specifications
Ability to perform detailed material and labor takeoffs
Experience soliciting, leveling, and negotiating subcontractor bids
Strong knowledge of construction costs, materials, labor, and equipment
Ability to identify constructability issues and potential cost risks
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency with construction estimating software and Microsoft Office
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings
