Must have 2 years of experience with direct responsibility in troubleshooting and repairing, heavy rolling stock equipment to include: gasoline and diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, pneumatic and structural damage
Must have good welding skills in all positions and cutting skills with a torch
Must have professional tools and toolboxes used in the repair of rolling stock equipment
Willing to acquire additional tools
Must be physically capable of bending, reaching, lifting and able to work in extreme environments (hot, cold, rain, snow, etc.)
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overtime hours along with varying shift patterns
Must have good attendance record
Must meet in-house minimum testing standards for Maintenance
High School or better
