6+ years of CNC machining experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency operating and programming 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and CAD models.
Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T;).
Proficiency with precision measurement equipment, including:
Calipers
Micrometers
CMM equipment
Ability to select appropriate cutting tools, workholding, and fixturing based on material, geometry, and machining requirements.
Ability to recognize process issues and make appropriate adjustments while maintaining documentation and quality requirements.
Lift and handle equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Stand for extended periods while working in a manufacturing environment.
Use hands and fingers to handle tools, equipment, parts, and materials.
Reach with hands and arms.
Perform work requiring close and distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work in an industrial environment where exposure to machine noise is expected.
