Nights spent traveling, away from home, are less than 10%

On-call shifts may be required.

General knowledge of Lamar, Department of Transportation (DOT), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations.

Ability to safely use construction and vegetation equipment, in regard to the construction and maintenance of outdoor structures.

Ability to safely use vegetation equipment, in regard to the maintenance of structures and Lamar building.

General knowledge of electrical procedures and techniques.

Ability to document installations through photographs and written logs

Ability to learn to safely use welding & torching equipment

Must be willing and able to learn how to use a smartphone for various job tasks

A high school diploma or Equivalent * Or some equivalent combination of education & experience

A valid driver's license is required.

Ability to complete OSHA 10-hour Construction course required

On-call shifts may be required.

Requiring the ability to work in adverse weather conditions and climb at heights up to 200 ft.

The physical demands for this position are moderate to heavy lifting, pushing, reaching, seeing (reading, color distinction, acuity, depth perception, and peripheral vision), sitting less than 50%, standing, stooping, talking, turning, walking, and climbing (up to 200 feet).

Minimum of 2-3 years (4,000+ hours) of traffic control experience.

ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor certification required.

Must successfully complete the ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor advanced training course.

Proven experience setting up traffic control operations on state and local roadways.

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local traffic safety regulations.

Ability to read and interpret road signs, work orders, and safety guidelines.

Proficient in completing paperwork and project documentation accurately.

Familiarity with delivery vehicle operation and cargo securing procedures.

Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and minor repairs.

Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. for extended periods.

Ability to work in varying weather conditions and environments.

Must be able to work nights, weekends, and be part of a rotating on-call schedule.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
