Minimum 3-5 years nursing and critical care experience

If nurse practitioner, Master's degree or greater

Graduate from an ANA accredited School of Nursing

Current NJ License as a Registered Nurse

Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse

Current CPR and ACLS certification required

Approval of credentials and clinical privileges per Center procedure

Maintain required continuing education credits, current, and completes required education for nurse practitioner recertification of 20 hours of category 1 contact hours/year

50% of the overall credits per 5 years must be from an approved ANCC provider

Computer proficiency

Strong Cardiology background preferred

LVAD experience a plus

Current CDS and DEA licenses required within 6 months of employment

Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the state
