Must possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, be a journeyman Electrician or possess a minimum four (4) years of equivalent experience.
Able to climb ladders, structures, poles and work in aerial position from a line belt and bucket truck.
Able to lift, carry, and move up to 150 lbs. with the assistance of another crew member.
Possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) class "B" with an air brakes endorsement. (Candidates will have 14 days to acquire a CDL Permit and 60 days to acquire the CDL.)
Able to pass the Metra M.O.W. Rules within sixty (60) days of hire and pass the Metra Roadway Worker Rules within thirty (30) days of hire.
Available to work a forty (40) hour week, be available on call 24-hours/day, 7 days/week, 365 days/year including weekends and holidays.
