Requires at least one of the following: AA/AS or minimum of 5 years of experience in claims auditing, quality assurance, or recovery auditing.

Requires at least one of the following certifications: RHIA certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator, RHIT certification as a Registered Health Information Technician, CCS as a Cert Coding Specialist, CIC as a Certified Inpatient Coder, or Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS).

Requires 5 years of experience working with ICD-9/10CM, MS-DRG, AP-DRG and APR-DRG.

Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

Conducting work in our Itasca office three times per week and virtual twice per week.

Knowledge and/or experience in production, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution.

Knowledge of current safety, quality assessments and audit of documentation to demonstrate regulatory conformance.

Knowledge of product/quality measurement skills applicable to assigned product area.

Foods: Knowledge/training in HACCP, GMPs, CPSC, FTC, FDA, EPA and other FSMA rules as applicable to assigned product area.

1-3 years of related experience required in the supermarket or in a QA/product safety role in supplier/processing industries.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Minimum four-year college degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Engineering, Chemistry or related field preferred.

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 plus bonus.

Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.

This position is a second-shift role and is regularly scheduled to work from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Second shift, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

With occasional overtime as required to support business needs.

Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, including at least two (2) years of people leadership experience.

Experience working in a manufacturing quality environment.

Experience leading or supervising employees in a manufacturing or operations setting.

Strong knowledge of quality management systems and applicable regulatory standards, including ISO 9001.

Proficiency with quality tools and methodologies, including Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.

Experience using quality inspection equipment and quality-related software systems.

Experience working in a unionized manufacturing or operations environment, with the ability to apply quality standards consistently while maintaining productive working relationships and adhering to labor agreement requirements.

Solid vision and hearing.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds occasionally.

Ability to stoop, crouch, kneel, reach, handle items, and perform fine motor tasks requiring finger dexterity.

Position is regularly scheduled to work second shift, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM , with occasional overtime as required to support business needs.

Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or other quality-related certification.

Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.

Experience supporting new product introductions and customer quality requirements.
