Work Schedule: 8 Hr (3:00:00 PM - 11:30:00 PM)

Infrequent Rotation, Minimum of one weekend per month, plus holiday and weekend requirements.

Current enrollment in an accredited Baccalaureate or Masters entry level school of nursing with passing grades in all courses upon hire and on an annual basis or awaiting eligibility (within 3 months of graduation).

Completed a fundamental nursing course to include basic nursing skills, such as vital signs and ADLs.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Successful completion of the institutional screening examination.

The ability to walk throughout the Medical Center and to be standing or walking most of the designated shift.

Lifting or carrying objects 35-40lbs. and supporting and positioning patients, some of whom may exceed 300 lbs.

$50-$60/hour

State SLP and PEL License Required

Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain)

DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance

Frequent engagement in tasks such as reaching, handling, standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Ability to perform essential job functions with or without assistive devices or accommodations, including working in moderate to high noise levels.

One year of experience in speech therapy

Department of Education certification

Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs

Experience with school-based caseload management
