8-12 years of maintenance, facilities, manufacturing, or related technical experience.
Must be a US Citizen
Capable of obtaining and maintaining security clearance.
Associate's degree, or higher, in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Maintenance, or equivalent. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal degree.
Basic shop skills and understanding of common manual and powered tools.
Hands-on technical capability and desire to understand mechanical equipment functionality.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and hydraulic diagrams.
Understanding of mechanical inspection and alignment practices on heavy machinery equipment, final diagnoses, and the proposed corrective action plan in accordance with manuals and other repair documentation.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, able to go into tight access, and be able to go up and down ladders to access equipment.
Experience in Ship Repair and/or Technical Service Industry
Experience using Oracle ERP system.
Ability to travel and work overtime.
