Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Engineering or related field with 6 years or more Quality Assurance / Quality Mangement role or equivalent Required
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must be able to move freely without accommodation throughout the manufacturing facility
Experience meeting Quality Management System requirements - ISO 9001, AS9100, or other equivalent industry standard.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles (Six Sigma)
Visual Acuity
Good Reading Skills
Walking, Standing, Sitting
Valid Driver's License for occasional travel
Advanced understanding of non-destructive testing methods as well as metrology
Experiences in application of problem solving methods (e.g. 5-Why, 8D, Ishikawa)
Basic knowledge of the rules of marine classifications societies and other relevant standards (e.g. API) (wenn API relevant!)
Extensive knowledge of production processes (e.g. casting, machining, etc.) thoughout mechanical engineering industry
Auditor Certification acc. ISO9001 or equivalent
Basics knowledge of regulations with regard to product liabiltiy and safety
Performs pre-employment substance abuse testing and background checks, where permitted by law.
