Utilizes precision measuring equipment (i.e. micrometers, calipers, comparators, master gauge blocks, indicators, surface gauges, surface plates, sine bars, etc.) to accept or reject parts so that product sent to customers meets expectations and quality standards
Assists and/or performs in any and all areas as assigned
Conducts training classes relating to inspection tools/equipment, processes, GD&T; and technical drawings
Directs other department inspectors at request of team lead or supervisor in leader's absence
2-4 years of applicable product inspection experience
Acts as 'go-to' person for quality control inspection procedures, willingly accepts responsibility for training other employees as required and ensures inspection methods are consistent and performed in adherence to quality standards and processes
