Three or more years of Collection experience in banking or related financial services environment.
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
High School diploma or general education (GED) required, two years technical certificate or associate degree required; will consider experience instead of education.
Practical working knowledge of Florida Consumer Protection Act-number 559.72, Fair Debt Collections Act, Student Loan Program, Chapter 7 and 13 Bankruptcy Code, Federal Wage Garnishment Law, and other codes and laws about debt collections.
Intermediate abilities in MS Office - Excel, Outlook, Word, Access, and automated collections applications.
