Graduate of an accredited therapy program.
2–3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current Physical Therapy Assistant state license
CPR certification.
Physical stamina to lift, transfer, and assist residents through physical activities.
Requires frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted, including assisting residents when needed.
Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including visual examination of residents and reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
Position requires medium-heavy physical work. Heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up more than 45 pounds of force repeatedly to move objects.
