High School Diploma or GED, military technical training, or equivalent experience required in machining
Minimum 7+ years of CNC milling experience, including independent setup and operation responsibilities
Minimum 5 years of experience performing complex setups and machining operations on 3 - 4 axis CNC milling machines
Demonstrated experience operating CNC milling centers utilizing Haas and Fanuc controls on 3-axis and 4-axis machines, as well as Heidenhain, Seimens and Mazatrol controls on 4-axis and 5-axis machines
Proven experience machining complex geometries, high-precision components, and low-volume/high-mix production parts
Advanced understanding of CNC machining principles, cutting tool technologies, feeds, speeds, and work holding strategies
Strong knowledge and application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T;)
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
Proficiency using precision measuring equipment including:
Micrometers
Calipers
Height gauges
Bore gauges
Optical Measuring Equipment
Tool Maker Microscope
Surface plates and indicators
Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills
Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
Frequent use of hands, fingers, and precision measuring instruments
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Ability to work around CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment while following all required safety protocols
