Minimum three years' experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex issues and performing heavy electrical repairs to electrical generator systems and related equipment
Experience performing megger and vibration testing and genset alignment
Experience installing and commissioning gensets
High school diploma or GED, required
Valid driver's license
Excellent driving record and the ability to obtain a CDL and/or DOT certification
Willingness to work additional hours as required and travel out of town, including out of the country to meet customers' demands
Proficiency in the use of technical software, databases and manuals
Regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
Frequently required to sit
Regularly lift and/or more up to 70 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
