Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program
Licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
Ability to work rotating shifts
Ability to work overtime as required
Ability to be qualified physically for respirator use, initially and as required
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. unassisted
Ability to perform job functions while standing and sitting; walking and climbing stairs; work from elevated areas; work in confined/cramped spaces; kneeling; bending/twisting; squatting; gross motor activities with fingers/hands; firm grasping; reaching overhead; repetitive motions; use of lower extremities for balance/coordination; reach in all directions
Vision: 20/40 with correction, in one eye or both; hearing acuity with correction
Ability to maintain tactile sensory functions
Ability to maintain good olfactory sensory function
Ability to transfer a 100 lb. patient with assistance as required by safety
Must be able to perform duties in a latex-safe environment
Must reside within commute to Columbia Primary Care - Blythewood or in reasonable proximity as implied by employment location
Background checks, drug screen, and medical/physical examination may be required as part of employment process
