Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program with a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience (relevant research, internship, and co-op experience counts toward total); or a bachelor's degree in a related field with 4 years of experience; or a master's degree in a related field with 2 years of experience

Working knowledge of CAD/modeling programs, specifically SolidWorks and/or Creo Pro/Engineer

Ability to work within stringent client-driven quality assurance programs

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project and Visio

Must be a US citizen

Must be willing to obtain and maintain a government TS/SCI security clearance

Mechanical design of complex, integrated systems

Minimum of 3+ years of distribution design experience utilizing designated distribution design tools such as the Distribution Design Studio or GDT.

Minimum of 2+ years of overall design experience in electrical or distribution engineering.

Hands-on experience with overhead to underground (OH to UG) conversion projects.

Proficiency with AutoCAD for creating and modifying distribution design drawings.

Experience working within Maximo for work order and asset management in a utility or distribution environment.

Strong background in distribution engineering, power distribution, and power delivery.

Bachelors degree in engineering or engineering technology.

Ability to interpret and apply utility design standards and engineering guidelines.

Experience using Distribution Design Studio for utility distribution projects.

Familiarity with GDT or similar geographic design tools used in distribution engineering.

Background supporting projects for large electric utilities or similar power delivery clients.
