Front Half, Day Shift: Sunday through Wednesday from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Back Half, Day Shift: Wednesday through Saturday from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Donut, Day Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Certified Compounding Pharmacy Technician

High school diploma or equivalent.

Active registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio.

At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience

Familiarity with USP <795> and <800> standards and non-sterile compounding processes.

This position requires medical approval to wear respiratory protection in the form of negative or positive pressure respirators, including N95, full face respirator, SCBA, or Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Due to the risk of reproductive capability in handling or compounding certain Hazardous Drugs (HD) associates must be willing to confirm that they understand the potential risks (teratogenicity, carcinogenicity and reproductive effects) of handling hazardous drugs.

Prior experience in hospital or compounding settings preferred.

Bachelor's Degree: Nursing (Required)

BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association

RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing

Specialized knowledge in nursing process and clinical skills.

Skills in computer applications as appropriate to area(s) of responsibility.

2-3 years nursing experience in related or like areas of responsibility.

Previous leadership experience such as precepting, charge role, clinical lead role, mentoring, department committee leadership or facilitation of meetings.
