The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $65,000 per year

Monday and Tuesday as common in-office days
Associate degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience with quality inspection of complex fabricated parts
Demonstrated ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings, inspection procedures, and work instructions
Working knowledge of measurement methodologies and techniques, including the use of fixtures and measurement tools to set up parts and perform inspections
Experience using an electronic enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to transact materials into and out of Quality and to research part status inquiries
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US government security clearance
Battelle may require employees, based on job duties, work location, and/or its clients' requirements to follow certain safety protocols and to be vaccinated against a variety of viruses, bacteria, and diseases as a condition of employment and continued employment and to provide documentation that they are fully vaccinated.
Prior experience working in an ISO 9001 quality production environment
Experience working within the US military or US defense contractor environment
Experience with and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;)
ASQ Certified Quality Inspector credential
Experience using a FARO arm to perform inspections
