Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices including, but not limited to volt meters and test lights.
2-5 Years experience in manufacturing
Understand relationship between voltage, current, and resistance.
Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools.
Familiar with the safe operation of various tools: including but not limited to drills, screw gun.
Complete understanding of both 12V DC and 110V AC circuitry.
Ability to use basic mathematics.
Must have good knowledge of automotive electronics.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40#'s without assistance.
Ability to work from various squatting, kneeling or bending positions.
Ability to work with arms above head.
Ability to work from ladders or scaffolding.
Ability to stand at a workstation for eight hours a day (minus specified breaks).
Ability to safely use specified hand, air, power tools, and machinery.
Ability to operate and understand the operation of all protective safety equipment in the area.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
Must be able to endure repetitive motions (hand crimping). (Employee must not suffer from any preexisting conditions, such as carpal tunnel or tennis elbow, or any other medical condition that may be aggravated by such motions.)
Ability to work in 105-degree heat for excess of ten (10) hours per day.
Ability to work in noisy and dusty conditions.
Four years automotive electrical installation and troubleshooting experience.
Must be familiar with all aspects of emergency vehicle electrical systems, work order interpretation, and engineering interpretation.
