Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, an associate's degree in a healthcare-related field, or an acceptable equivalent required

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required

State Licensure required based on modality

Texas: MRT or LMRT by TMB

Louisiana: LRT (R) or (F) by LSRTBE

New Mexico: RRT or FUS by MIRTP NMED

Bachelor's degree preferred

0-1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 6 months of hire to work/perform independently

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required within 6 months of hire to work/perform independently at Pediatric facilities

One of the following certifications is preferred _(individuals whose ARRT certification lapsed prior to June 1, 2023, may qualify under LSRTBE exemption criteria)_ : * Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) by CCI * Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) by CCI * Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI * Radiography (R) by ARRT * Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) by ARRT * Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) by ARRT * Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) by ARRT * Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS * Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS * Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS * Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS

All Associates are required to obtain the required certifications for their respective positions within the designated time frame.

Must be registered in CT and one other modality from ARRT

Must be a graduate of an accredited imaging program for their primary pathway.

Must have at least 1 year imaging experience for each certified modality.

Must have one (1) year of CT experience per the job description.

Must have a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification from Texas Department of Health or Texas Medical Board (not applicable to MR, S, or VS).

Must have credentialed through ARRT in CT

Must possess two or more imaging subspecialties: * Bone Densitometry (BD) or Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist (CBDT®) accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) * Breast Sonography (BS) * Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) * Computed Tomography (CT) * Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) * Mammography (M) * Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) * Radiography (R) * Sonography (S) * Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) * Vascular Sonography (VS)

Must have a current Healthcare Provider (BLS Level) CPR course completion card prior to hire and/or placement in job from one of the following: American Heart Association American Red Cross Rescuer Military Training Network

Must be able to demonstrate advanced computer skills.

Must be able to demonstrate routine to complex positioning ability to achieve images which meet quality criteria.
