Relevant internship experiences are preferred.
BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering with 1-2 years of industry experience in defense and undersea/maritime domains.
Experience with Altium, ORCAD or similar electronic schematic capture/simulation tools
Experience with SolidWorks, CAD or other solid modeling tool
Familiarity with subsea wet cable design and construction
Experience at sea and familiarity with offshore rigging
Experience with mechanical production and sustainment of maritime systems
Familiarity with localization methods including beamforming
Experience with acoustic propagation models such as BELLHOP, RAY or CASS/GRAB
Experience or familiarity with electronics assembly, wiring, crimping, and soldering
Proficiency with electronic laboratory test equipment including digital multi-meter, oscilloscope, function generator, digital voltage and current measurement probes.
Experience working in an R&D; environment and working in small multidisciplinary teams
