High school diploma, technical certification, or vocational training in Machining, Mechanical Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in in-situ machining, field machining services, or a similar heavy industrial environment.
Demonstrated experience machining and reconditioning reciprocating engine components.
Strong knowledge of portable machining equipment, precision measurement tools, and machining techniques.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and service manuals.
Experience troubleshooting machining equipment and resolving technical challenges in the field.
Experience working independently at customer sites and executing field service projects.
Ability and willingness to travel extensively to customer locations.
Valid driver's license.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Vision: Close; Distance; Depth.
Color Perception (Red, Green, Amber).
Hearing/Listening.
Clear Speech.
Touching: Dexterity; Hand; Finger.
Ability to Mount and Dismount Forklift/Truck.
Pushing/Pulling/Stoop/Kneel/Crouch or Crawl.
Lifting: 45 Pounds; 5 Times per shift.
Carrying: 25 Pounds; 5 Times per shift.
Driving (local/over the road).
Bend/Squat/Sit and Stand for a prolonged period of time.
Climbing / Balance.
