Part-Time Payroll Specialist
2+ years of payroll processing experience
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance standards
Experience with payroll systems (ADP or similar preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Process weekly and/or bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Review and validate timekeeping records for completeness and accuracy
Maintain and update employee payroll records (new hires, terminations, changes)
Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and adjustments
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Assist with payroll tax reporting and documentation
Reconcile payroll discrepancies and collaborate with HR and finance teams
Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, deductions, and tax withholdings
Support payroll audits and maintain organized payroll documentation
Maintain payroll data in HRIS/payroll systems
Experience with multi-state payroll is a plus
