2 years' experience in manufacturing/assembly.

Basic mechanical knowledge.

Mechanical aptitude Technical specialty - Auto / farm / industrial / oil & gas / Instrument fitter / mechanical technician.

Demonstrated ability to use a variety of precision test equipment, measuring instruments, and gauging devices.

Must have demonstrated ability to perform inspection and testing and adhere to production and quality standards and drawing specifications of final and sub-assemblies.

Experience and knowledge of basic mechanical principles, testing procedures, basic hydraulics.

High School Diploma or GED, with above-average mechanical ability.

Ability to read, comprehend, and follow processes, procedures, and policies.

Subsea Blow Out Prevention controls experience is considered a plus.

Required experience (High School Diploma or GED, and one or more of the following) 1. ASDT ( Associate of Applied Science Diesel Technology) 2. Three years military experience - navy engineman or 3. Equivalent industry experience

Basic knowledge of diesel engine

Must be able to read and interpret engine line diagrams and blueprints

Proficiency in English language (verbal and writing)

Must have ability to regularly lift at least 35 pounds

Maintain valid driver's license

Computer skills

This position requires access or potential access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information, which is Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data.

Starting at: $14/Hr. - $16/Hr.
