High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of related work experience are required.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and quality control software.
Ability to demonstrate basic math skills and use/test measuring equipment including, but not limited to, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauges, Rockwell hardness tester, optical comparator and templates, torque testing machine, gauge pins and blocks, and metallurgical equipment such as wet saws, grinders, and sample mounting equipment.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 35 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
