This position requires working onsite five days a week.

Currently pursuing a B.S. or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related degree.

2.8 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, resolve complex problems, and make sound technical decisions.

IPC J-STD-001 Soldering Certification.

Ability to inspect and repair solder connections in various Circuit boards and assemblies.

Dexterity and good eyesight are essential in being able to work with small components.

Knowledge of soldering is a must as well as prior assembly/manufacturing experience.

Must be able to speak and understand instructions given in English.

Ability to read work instructions and drawings.

IPC-A-610 Inspection experience

Experience in performing through hole assembly in conjunction with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing.

Technical degree in Electronics manufacturing preferred, but not required.

This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Basic Excel spreadsheets.

May transfer to Plano location after Irving location

Technical certificate related field preferred

Certified in Vacuum Leak checking, GTAW/TIG, RF Braze, Cold match/cold test, Laser welding, Torch Brazing, Resistance spot welding, Cascade furnace control, Grid Blast

The hourly rate for this position is $22 -$25 per hour.

This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

CORE HOURS: 6AM - 2:30PM

Minimum three years of experience in an electrical assembly/test related role with the use of hand and/or power tools OR a one-year Technical School diploma in Electrical Systems (or a closely related field) from an accredited institution and two years of experience in an electrical assembly/test related role.

Must have experience with wiring diagrams, schematics, and ladder logic diagrams.

Must have experience reading, interpreting, and troubleshooting electrical control systems.
