Workdays are often 12 hours, averaging around 60 hours per week during busy periods, and most weekends are worked while traveling.

Approximately 3 or more years of experience in field service engineering or a closely related role, working directly on complex machinery and control systems.

Strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in PLC programming in Rockwell environments, including RSLogix5, RSLogix500, RSLogix5000, Studio 5000, and Connected Components Workbench (CCW).

Experience with HMI programming in Rockwell environments, such as FactoryTalk View.

Ability to perform electrical schematic drafting using AutoCAD Electrical.

Strong skills in electrical circuit troubleshooting and diagnostics.

Solid understanding of electrical design concepts, processes, components, circuits, and power distribution.

Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA-79, and UL-508 standards and their application to industrial equipment.

Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and schematics.

Capability to generate bills of materials from specifications and drawings with a high level of accuracy.

Comfort working directly with customers in demanding field environments, maintaining professionalism and composure.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 100% of the time, including some nights and weekends.

Ability to work long hours, including 12-hour days and approximately 60-hour workweeks when traveling.

Strong initiative and self-direction, with the ability to guide and support team members in the field.

Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with build, electrical, and cross-functional teams.

Residence within reasonable proximity to a major airport to support frequent travel.

Permanent position based out of Dallas, TX.

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET) is preferred.

Experience in packaging machinery or food and beverage production environments is highly desirable.

Exposure to motion control, safety systems, and related industrial automation technologies.

Experience working across multiple equipment divisions such as fillers, seamers, and cappers.

Ability to support technical documentation efforts by providing clear, detailed input to Technical Writers.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing customer requirements.

Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a busy season from January through April and slower periods from May through Lab or Day.

Organizational skills to manage frequent travel, varying project durations, and multiple customer engagements.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$114,200 - $190,400

This is a hybrid position

The selected candidate is expected to work on-site at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience

7+ years of experience as a BI Engineer, Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or a related occupation delivering BI, analytics, and reporting solutions

ETL/ELT and pipelines: hands-on experience programming to extract, transform, and clean large datasets, and building scheduled, monitored pipelines in tools such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, or Snowflake

Scripting for automation: proficiency in Python or a similar language for data transformation and automation

Workflow automation: Power Automate, Power Apps, or comparable low-code tooling for reporting workflows

AI-enabled analytics (differentiator): applying LLM and GenAI capabilities to BI: automated narrative generation, conversational analytics, and agent-ready semantic layers

Executive tooling: advanced Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and executive storytelling

Demonstrated ability to establish business logic and metric definitions that turn raw data into trusted, consumable reporting

Experience communicating and presenting analytical results to senior leadership

Working knowledge of core finance concepts (ROI, forecasting, variance-to-plan, business-case and P&L; mechanics) and direct experience partnering with a finance or FP&A; team to translate financial methodology into data logic

Demonstrated ability to operate as the sole technical IC on a team, without a dedicated BI or data engineering organization to lean on for support, review, or troubleshooting

Experience supporting large-scale transformation programs, PMO or value-realization analytics, or benefit tracking for strategic initiatives

Hands-on experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, or Snowflake

Experience embedding GenAI or AI-agent capabilities into analytics solutions, such as automated narratives, conversational BI, or semantic layers for agents

Exposure to SAP/ERP data and enterprise source systems, including S/4HANA migration environments

Experience with the theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results

Experience enabling governed self-service analytics and establishing data and reporting SLAs

Healthcare, pharmaceutical distribution, or other regulated-industry experience is a plus
