Core hours are 6am-2:45pm Monday-Friday

Availability for overtime Monday through Saturday

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications - required

Experience using inspection tools (microscopes, multimeters, calipers, gauges) - required

Quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment (2-5 years) - required

High school diploma or GED - required

Must hold U.S. Person status for access to ITAR-Controlled Technical Data.

Experience with ERP or quality management systems - preferred

IPC certifications (J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620) - preferred

Aerospace or defense inspection experience, including First Article Inspection - a plus

Technical or vocational training - preferred

Competitive base salary and bonus opportunity

$85,000 to $130,000

BS degree in Civil Engineering required

4+ years of experience in structural engineering

Structural analysis software such as SAP2000 or RISA

AutoCAD and/or Revit

Microsoft Office

This role requires frequently sitting or standing for extended periods of time and occasionally lifting and/or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds, with infrequent lifting up to 75 pounds.

The work regularly requires bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, and maintaining balance.

This position frequently requires handling and operating specialized tools and equipment and working in a variety of physical positions, including occasionally accessing tight or confined spaces.

MS degree in Civil / Structural Engineering preferred.

Experience in a forensic or consulting environment preferred

Structural inspection and condition assessment experience preferred

Residential and/or commercial construction experience and/or materials lab investigation experience a plus

P.E. license preferred

Ability to obtain a PE license within 2 years of employment will be considered
