Ability to read (write and speak in English) and interpret assembly drawings/specifications from internal and external sources.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blue prints.
Proficient in AutoCAD/Visio, Solidworks (preferred) or equivalent 3D modeling software.
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Possess good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Liaison with engineering/sales/manufacturing personnel
Able to move from design concept to finished design, including layouts and tolerance valuations and detail drawings.
Ability to learn and execute established procedures and programs
Complete all applicable reports and required project documentation
Able to follow established procedures to complete required cable assembly designs
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to satisfy AFSI ITAR requirements
One to two years' college or trade school education in engineering drawing/CAD design
Minimum five (5) years' on-the-job experience.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for formal training
