Minimum 6 months MIG welding experience.
Experience reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.
Experience welding with GMAW (mig) on mild or low alloy steel
Experience with fit up and assembly of welded components
Knowledge of welding equipment
Ability to read and understand technical drawings such as fabrication drawings
Ability to understand tolerances and fabricate parts within allowance
Ability to read and write in English.
* OR the ability to effectively communicate verbally in English and in writing in Spanish.
Ability to use and understand basic measuring devices.
Ability to use a tablet and/or computer.
Ability to maneuver body to weld in flat, vertical and overhead positions.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Able to move, bend, squat, kneel, crouch, balance, stoop, and reach on a regular basis.
Ability to use/wear appropriate personal safety equipment such as welding helmet, safety glasses, earplugs, hardhat, respirator, welding gloves, and welding jacket.
