Graduating from accredited registered nursing school

BLS required

Less than 12 months of nursing experience by the start of the program

Eligible for Delaware license as a Graduate Nurse/Registered Nurse or multi-state RN from a compact state

Nurse residents are required to pass State Boards and be licensed as a RN in the State of Delaware (or compact state) prior to starting position

Med-Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Current RN license and good standing with the Delaware State Board of Nursing.

Current BLS from the American Heart Association (be sure to include the AHA logo and QR Code).

Current ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Minimum of 1 year experience as a Med Surg/Telemetry RN (most recent experience within the last year).

Must be competent caring for patients on telemetry monitors, identifying basic arrhythmias, and interpreting EKG strips.

Previous experience caring for general medical, surgical, orthopedic, and oncology patients.
