Previous experience with **low-voltage, fire alarm, electrical, security, structured cabling, or related systems**.

Understanding of basic low-voltage wiring, device installation, termination, and testing.

Ability to read or develop proficiency reading blueprints, riser diagrams, and schematics.

Comfortable using ladders and lifts and working above ceilings and within electrical/telecommunications spaces.

Hands-on exposure to one or more of the following fire alarm manufacturers is highly valuable: * Notifier * Honeywell * Fire-Lite * Silent Knight * Edwards / EST * Potter * Siemens * Simplex
