Experience in wage-and-hour compliance, payroll compliance, employment law, payroll operations, audit, or a closely related field.
Deep working knowledge of federal wage-and-hour law and experience addressing complex state and local pay requirements.
Demonstrated ability to audit payroll and timekeeping practices, analyze data, identify root causes, and drive corrective action through completion.
Strong understanding of payroll processes, timekeeping systems, compensation practices, and internal controls.
Proven ability to lead and project-manage significant cross-functional compliance initiatives, establish clear governance and accountability, and influence stakeholders at multiple levels in a complex, matrixed organization.
Sound judgment and the ability to convert legal, regulatory, and operational requirements into practical business solutions.
