BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field is required plus 2 or more years of related experience.
Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience.
Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
A current, active Top Secret security clearance is required with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI.
Experience in mission operations, including one or more of the following areas:
Operations readiness activities, rehearsals, and launch support activities
Spacecraft commissioning
Spacecraft, payload, or subsystem design
Mission management, command and control
Operations product development such as command execution scripts, alarm limits, mission system constraints, operator procedures, and/or operator training material.
Ground systems
Familiarity with systems engineering processes, such as requirements development, requirement allocation, change management, verification and validation.
