BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field is required plus 4 or more years related experience.
Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience.
Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
Working knowledge of all aspects of facility design (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, architectural).
Working knowledge of 2021/2024 IBC and IFC and ADA regulations.
Cursory knowledge of the other I-Codes, zoning regulations, and development processes.
Proficient in the use of personal computer software; Microsoft Office Suite and design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
Proven history of using critical thinking skills to improve processes/operations and increase efficiency.
Demonstrated ability to manage work schedule and meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills and detail-orientation demonstrated through an ability to manage work schedule, manage multiple projects and priorities.
Proven history of implementation of safe workplace practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proven history of creating collaborative relationships across the company and all levels of personnel.
A security clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access.
