Full-Time Salary Range: $153377 - $260743

BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field is required plus 12 or more years related experience.

Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.

A current, active Top Secret security clearance is required with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.

Expertise in RF payloads to include sub-systems (aperture, front-end, software define radios, processing, basic exploitation, etc.) and phenomenologies (radar, SAR, communications, radiometry, imaging, sounding, altimetry, scatterometry, radio occultation, etc.); knowledge should include solution's concept and requirements that impact Payload's cost/schedule, development, operation, and performance.

Knowledge and demonstrated experience in defining payload RF payload solutions for systems and architectures as well as assessing, developing and documenting their requirements (specifications, interfaces, CONOPs, environment, constraints, functions, information, etc.); architecture should include assessment of focused and distributed mission architectures.

A capability to communicate using nominal systems and architecture languages and diagrams is required.

Knowledge of, and experience in a program's gated lifecycle and system engineering cycle with experience in program's risk assessment and mitigation by planning embedded tasks, participation and/or leadership in milestone audits/reviews, and participation and/or Leadership in anomaly/failure reviews.

New business development experience, including successful customer interaction; briefing and whitepaper development; direct discussions or briefings; and exceptional proposal writing.

Knowledge of, and the ability to estimate program component, box, and subsystem level cost and schedule with a goal to support new proposals, basis of estimate (BOE) development, program make/buy decisions, and improve engineering estimating tools and/or capabilities.

Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to support definition and design of architectures, systems, and remote sensing payload is desired, as well as the use of DoW and/or Industry standard architecture languages, formats, and frameworks.

7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience

7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience

5+ years of software development with object oriented language experience

5+ years of integration, testing and automation experience

Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Experience designing and executing systematic test campaigns for complex, multi-component software platforms — including writing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end system tests against documented requirements in environments where the test infrastructure must be built alongside the system under test.

Demonstrated systems engineering test mindset — the ability to look at a platform composed of multiple integrated products (Kubernetes, GPU orchestration, AI/ML training and inference pipelines, network automation, identity management, storage) and reason about where integration boundaries will fail, where configuration drift will introduce defects, where AI workload behavior will expose platform gaps, and where requirements gaps will surface only under realistic operating conditions.

Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD-integrated testing pipelines

Familiarity with Kubernetes platforms, containerized workloads, and infrastructure-level software components sufficient to write technically meaningful tests — not just UI-level validation, but tests that verify scheduling behavior, resource allocation, tenant isolation enforcement, storage mount integrity, and platform service availability under load.
